Frequently Asked Questions
1What's the difference between this and native cloud tools?
Native tools like AWS Well-Architected Tool provide self-assessment questionnaires. We provide expert-led analysis with context, prioritization, and actionable remediation plans. We also work across AWS, Azure, and GCP with consistent methodology.
2What access do you need to our environment?
Read-only access to your cloud accounts for resource inventory and configuration analysis. We provide pre-built IAM policies with least-privilege permissions. No production impact, no data access.
3How is this different from a security assessment?
A Well-Architected Review covers all 6 pillars including reliability, performance, cost, and operations-not just security. However, security is a deep focus area in our review. For penetration testing or compliance audits, see our Security Assessments service.
4Can you help implement the recommendations?
Yes! Many clients engage us for implementation after the review. We offer fixed-price implementation packages for common remediations, or ongoing managed cloud services for continuous improvement.
5How often should we do this review?
We recommend annual reviews for production environments, plus ad-hoc reviews before major launches, after migrations, or during M&A due diligence. Many clients include quarterly check-ins in their managed services agreement.
6Do you support multi-cloud environments?
Absolutely. We assess AWS, Azure, and GCP with consistent methodology. For multi-cloud environments, we also evaluate cross-cloud connectivity, consistent security policies, and operational efficiency.
