PlatOps was founded in 2014 in Bethesda, Maryland, with a simple observation: small and mid-sized businesses were being underserved. Enterprise vendors sold complex, expensive solutions designed for Fortune 500s. Boutique shops couldn't scale. Our founders — formerly at Cisco, Google, and U.S. federal agencies — saw an opportunity to bring that expertise to organizations that needed it most.
Today, we manage infrastructure across healthcare, finance, government, and SaaS. We're still founder-led, still profitable, still based in Bethesda — no venture capital, no pressure to grow at all costs. Just senior engineers doing great work for clients who trust us with their most critical systems.
